The Apex APX-DCO-400G-T2 and APX-DCO-400G-M4 are single-slot 400G coherent cards for flexible transport on OTN platforms. The APX-DCO-400G-T2 is a 400G transponder with two independent conversion units, while the APX-DCO-400G-M4 multiplexes four 100G clients onto one 400G coherent line.
The transponder variant provides two QSFP-DD client ports supporting DR4, LR4, FR4, SR8 and LR8 optics and two 400G CFP2 DCO coherent line ports. It maps 400GE to ODUC4 and OTUC4 and supports 16QAM, 16QAM-PCS and QPSK line modulation with soft-decision FEC.
The muxponder variant aggregates four QSFP28 100G clients supporting SR4, LR4 and CWDM4 into a single 400G CFP2 DCO line, mapping 100GE, 100GE FlexE and OTU4 through ODU4, ODUC4 and OTUC4. Both cards tune over 48 channels on a 100GHz grid in the extended C-band and offer automatic laser shutdown, latency measurement, LLDP and GMP functions.

Two independent conversion units each carry 400G, with two QSFP-DD client ports and two 400G CFP2 DCO coherent line ports per card, mapping 400GE to ODUC4 and OTUC4.
Four QSFP28 100G clients are aggregated onto a single 400G CFP2 DCO line, mapping 100GE, 100GE FlexE and OTU4 through ODU4, ODUC4 and OTUC4.
Tunable 48-channel extended C-band wavelengths carry 400G coherent transport across metro and regional routes.
400GE clients are mapped onto coherent wavelengths for high-capacity links between data centers.
The muxponder card aggregates four 100G services onto one 400G line, conserving wavelengths and line ports.
Soft-decision FEC and selectable modulation support long-reach transport across regional and long-haul spans.
Interoperable with major optical transport and networking platforms. The client side uses standard QSFP-DD and QSFP28 MSA pluggables, the line side follows ITU-T and MSA specifications, and both cards are managed through the host transport platform.
The APX-DCO-400G-T2 is a transponder with two independent 400G units, while the APX-DCO-400G-M4 is a muxponder that aggregates four 100G clients onto a single 400G line.
The transponder supports QSFP-DD DR4, LR4, FR4, SR8 and LR8 optics, and the muxponder supports QSFP28 SR4, LR4 and CWDM4 optics.
Line modulation options are 16QAM, 16QAM-PCS and QPSK, with soft-decision FEC for long-reach performance.
Yes. Both are single-slot cards that share the host OTN platform chassis, management and slot architecture with other service cards.
APEX is a communication technology brand focused on optical transceivers, telecom synchronization products, and network infrastructure equipment. We provide products and engineering support for telecom operators, data centers, mobile networks, and enterprise customers worldwide.
APEX GROUP is headquartered in Hong Kong, with our core team and supply chain operations based in China. We ship to customers across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
We are a brand owner with deep engineering partnerships. We control product design, specification, quality validation, and supply chain management. Our products are built to our specifications by qualified manufacturing partners, and we handle all testing, coding, and quality assurance before shipment.
Yes. We code transceivers to match the host platform requirements of major switch and router vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE, Huawei, Nokia, and others. Tell us your platform model and required OS version, and we will ship modules that are recognized natively by your equipment.
Datasheets, compatibility matrices, and S-parameter reports are available for all standard products. Contact our sales team or visit the product pages on our website to request documentation.
Provide us with your switch make, model, and OS version. We code the transceiver firmware accordingly before shipment. If you are testing for the first time, we recommend ordering a sample unit to validate compatibility in your specific environment before placing a volume order.
Switch vendors occasionally introduce transceiver whitelisting in new OS releases. We track major platform updates and can provide recoded firmware matching the new OS requirements. Contact technical support if your existing APEX modules stop being recognized after a switch upgrade.
Contact our sales team by email, WhatsApp, or WeChat with your part number and quantity. We will confirm pricing, lead time, and shipping options. For first-time customers, we typically recommend starting with a sample order to validate compatibility before scaling to production volumes.
We ship via DHL, FedEx, and UPS for express delivery, typically 3-7 business days to most destinations. For volume orders, we also offer air freight and sea freight options. We can ship on your courier account or ours, and we handle all export documentation.
Sample orders start from 1-2 units for evaluation. For production orders, MOQ varies by product type, typically 10-50 units for standard transceivers. Contact us for specific product MOQs.
