Industrial-grade Protection Design

Adopting an aluminum alloy housing for rugged protection, the device achieves IP40 dustproof and waterproof rating. It features vibration resistance and corrosion resistance. With fanless design and wide-temperature design, it can operate stably under extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 75℃. Wide voltage input is optional, and dual power supply redundancy ensures high system reliability and uninterrupted operation.

Excellent EMC Performance

It reaches Level 4 criteria in electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transient burst (EFT), and surge immunity, with zero packet loss under such extreme conditions.

Communication Solution for Substation Automation

Solution Overview

To meet the communication requirements of the substation automation system, Guanglu Technology provides a complete communication solution. Based on industrial communication standards such as DL/T1214, the solution adopts a three-layer and two-network architecture to ensure efficient and stable data transmission between the process layer and the station control layer.

Process Layer Communication

At the process layer, Guanglu Technology recommends 100Mbps or Gigabit industrial Ethernet switches with multi-electro-optical interfaces. These switches can reliably transmit service messages such as GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) and SV (Sampled Value) from merging units, intelligent devices, secondary measurement and protection equipment, fault recording devices and other facilities. Featuring high bandwidth and low latency, they guarantee real-time performance and accuracy of data transmission.

Station Control Layer Communication

At the station control layer, Guanglu Technology provides standard rack-mounted 28-port industrial switches to aggregate service data from workstations, protection meters and dispatching terminals. Energy Storage Cabinet Access Layer Communication

At the access layer of energy storage cabinets — the core of the energy storage system — we have designed an efficient communication solution. Closely cooperating with the battery system, we realize in-depth integration and transmission of environmental safety monitoring data of energy storage cabinets. It covers key services including real-time video stream transmission of the video monitoring system, collection and transmission of fire protection and environmental data, as well as downlink delivery of control commands.

To ensure the stability and security of data transmission, we adopt advanced communication technologies. Combined with the actual operating environment of energy storage cabinets, communication equipment is customized to maintain efficient and stable communication under various working conditions.

PCS Converter Communication

For PCS (Power Conversion System) converters, high-performance industrial-grade switches are adopted as the core communication equipment. Featuring high reliability, high bandwidth and low latency, these switches guarantee the real-time and accurate transmission of critical protection and measurement & control data such as DC power conversion. They also support real-time monitoring and control of PCS converters by the monitoring center, enabling overall management and full control of the entire energy storage system.

To further enhance the stability and reliability of the communication system, we have conducted in-depth technical research and optimization targeting the communication requirements of PCS converters. Multiple redundancy designs are deployed to ensure the system maintains normal communication functions even under abnormal conditions such as equipment failure or network interruption.
