【Smart Expressway】The expressway monitoring system mainly monitors trunk road sections of expressways to keep track of real-time traffic conditions.

By applying computer technology, the system connects cameras, various road-embedded sensors, variable message signs and other devices to collect traffic data. It promptly transmits information such as traffic flow to the management department. After being processed in accordance with preset traffic control strategies and schemes, the data is released to drivers via variable message boards and other means.

The system enables real-time surveillance of key expressway sections, keeps abreast of traffic dynamics, detects abnormalities in a timely manner, and provides immediate traffic guidance, so as to ensure safe and smooth operation of the expressway.

Solution Features

  • BYPASS optical bypass protection can automatically bypass faulty nodes to ensure unobstructed network operation.
  • Adopts ERPS ring network protection with network fault self-healing capability.
  • High network real-time performance. QoS technology is applied to guarantee the transmission of key services.
  • Network security guaranteed; supports 802.1x authentication to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Enables unified management of all network devices, timely alarm reception and rapid fault location.

What is a Bypass Switch?

High-reliability Optical Bypass Protection Switch

The Bypass industrial switches developed by Guanglu Technology are equipped with multiple protection functions. Even if multiple single-point faults occur in the network, data transmission will not be affected.

The optical bypass protection system is an intelligent optical switching system in the field of optical fiber communication, which can automatically bypass faulty network nodes. It is able to automatically identify the power supply status and optical signal output status of network nodes.

A bypass protection switch is a specialized network device that automatically handles faults when a site on the transmission network suffers a power failure.

By adopting an automatic power-off switching mechanism, the optical bypass protection switch isolates the power-down site and directly passes optical signals between the upstream and downstream directions. This keeps the original optical ring path unobstructed even when the local base station loses power, minimizing the impact of single-point power outages on the entire network.

The application of Bypass switches greatly eliminates potential security risks in existing transmission networks, and improves the reliability and safety of network transmission.
