Product Overview
The Apex APX-OLT-GPON-1U 16-Port is a 1U fixed GPON OLT that brings access features normally found in modular chassis into a compact, low-footprint unit for small and medium central offices.
Its 16 PON ports each support up to 128 GPON ONUs with five bandwidth templates (T-CONT) and dynamic bandwidth allocation, and ONUs can be authenticated by LOID, serial number, password or a combination. Ranging and logical-distance configuration run per PON port.
The unit complies with ITU-T G.984 and G.988 and with common operator access standards. It carries the same Layer 2 feature set as the modular models, including 4K VLAN, QinQ, STP/RSTP, LACP link aggregation, port mirroring and IGMP/MLD multicast snooping and proxy.
