The Apex 25G SFP28 DWDM module carries a 25 Gigabit service on one dense wavelength division multiplexing channel of the C-band at 100GHz spacing. The narrow grid allows dozens of 25G services on one fiber pair, which is what makes it the right part when a route has more traffic than a coarse plan can hold.
25G DWDM is used on metro and regional routes, dark fiber leases and fronthaul or mid haul runs where many sites have to share one cable. The C-band channels sit inside the gain window of erbium doped fiber amplifiers, so spans can be extended past the module grade with an inline amplifier rather than a regenerator.
Use of the 25G CWDM grid keeps the option open to add more channels later on the same fiber. We confirm the channel plan, the mux/demux hardware and whether amplification is in line before quoting, and supply the passive parts and patch cords with the transceivers so the plan matches at both ends.

Carries each 25G service on its own dense channel so one fiber pair covers a whole route instead of a single link.
Extends 25G reach beyond the module grade with an inline amplifier on routes where a regenerator would cost more.
Lets several radio sites or sectors share a cable that is already carrying traffic, using spare C-band channels.
25G DWDM modules are coded for the transport, fronthaul or routing platform you name and tested on live ports before shipment. The channel plan is the critical detail, so we ask for the existing channel list, the mux/demux part, the measured span and whether amplifiers are in line, then match wavelength, grade and patch cords to that plan.
DWDM gives far more channels on the same fiber and supports amplified spans, so it fits routes with heavy traffic or long distances. CWDM stays the cheaper option where 18 channels or fewer are needed within 40km.
The APD version adds sensitivity for longer spans and routes with high loss or several mux stages. On short amplified runs the standard PIN grade at 10km is usually enough.
Yes. The plan is defined by the grid and channel numbers, so different line rates can occupy different channels on the same fiber as long as the mux hardware passes those wavelengths.
Where a plan changes often, a tunable module avoids stocking several fixed channels. Tell us the route and the planned channels and we will confirm what fits.
APEX is a communication technology brand focused on optical transceivers, telecom synchronization products, and network infrastructure equipment. We provide products and engineering support for telecom operators, data centers, mobile networks, and enterprise customers worldwide.
APEX GROUP is headquartered in Hong Kong, with our core team and supply chain operations based in China. We ship to customers across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
We are a brand owner with deep engineering partnerships. We control product design, specification, quality validation, and supply chain management. Our products are built to our specifications by qualified manufacturing partners, and we handle all testing, coding, and quality assurance before shipment.
Yes. We code transceivers to match the host platform requirements of major switch and router vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE, Huawei, Nokia, and others. Tell us your platform model and required OS version, and we will ship modules that are recognized natively by your equipment.
Datasheets, compatibility matrices, and S-parameter reports are available for all standard products. Contact our sales team or visit the product pages on our website to request documentation.
Provide us with your switch make, model, and OS version. We code the transceiver firmware accordingly before shipment. If you are testing for the first time, we recommend ordering a sample unit to validate compatibility in your specific environment before placing a volume order.
Switch vendors occasionally introduce transceiver whitelisting in new OS releases. We track major platform updates and can provide recoded firmware matching the new OS requirements. Contact technical support if your existing APEX modules stop being recognized after a switch upgrade.
Contact our sales team by email, WhatsApp, or WeChat with your part number and quantity. We will confirm pricing, lead time, and shipping options. For first-time customers, we typically recommend starting with a sample order to validate compatibility before scaling to production volumes.
We ship via DHL, FedEx, and UPS for express delivery, typically 3-7 business days to most destinations. For volume orders, we also offer air freight and sea freight options. We can ship on your courier account or ours, and we handle all export documentation.
Sample orders start from 1-2 units for evaluation. For production orders, MOQ varies by product type, typically 10-50 units for standard transceivers. Contact us for specific product MOQs.
We accept wire transfer (T/T) as our standard payment method. For established customers, we can offer net-term payment arrangements. Contact our sales team to discuss payment terms.
All APEX products come with a 3-year standard warranty against manufacturing defects. We offer advance replacement for defective units, shipping the replacement before you return the failed unit to minimize downtime. For full details, visit our After-Sales Service page.
